Description:
The ultimate long-distance highway traveler...
I can't make up my mind if I'd want to sacrifice being mistaken for a police officer to have one really damn awesome red Police Interceptor... |

So if I have a Crown Vic with a black grill, a bumper guard, and a black strip on the trunk, I could be "caught for imitating a police officer?" |

#2, I think not unless you're using additional equipment like lightbars/spotlights/sirens to influence other drivers, and #3, I believe these are still body-on-frame construction, somebody correct me if I'm wrong |

#6, But that looks to be a solid steel grille guard, not a push bar. The point of the push bars is to lessen the impact force. |

This doesn't look right in red. Needs to be dark blue or black. Maybe burgundy. Some dark color anyway. |

You can only get caught for imitating a police officer if you are wearing a police uniform or using lights that look like police lights. This also includes using a red and a blue windshield washer light. |

I've never driven an automatic so I need a little explanation. Is there a way, any way to control shifting? Or will I get upshift/downshifts when cornering (and get killed)? |

So how does it feel? I mean, how can I drive a car on the limit (sometimes you have to do it, the roads are not perfect and neither are the drivers) when you don't know how much torque will you get on the wheels? And if it doesn't shift for example right in the middle of a slide? |

if the tranny isn't crap, then it should work fine. you shouldn't have to worry about that, more on how you control the car. and if it's slippery enough to slide, there would be enough power to pull out of it. (even with like 80hp). if you rev it up too close to the redline of the engine, then it will shift up, but otherwise it probably wont. what car are we talking about by the way (could help narrow it down and stuff)?
[edit] bone stock FIAT Tipo 1.4. ok. not sure what power it has or anything, but should be fine.
