okay i think i figured it out. driver may have started drifting off the right side of the road, over corrected, spun, hit tree...the rest is in the pictures

#4, Well, in the pic, the gauge needle is pointing strait up, which is 90MPH. Now assuming that he probably slowed, or at least tried to, down quite a bit before hitting anything I'd guess he was going closer to 110-120MPH.

The gauge could be in KM/h, though--this accident happened in Portugal.

#13, I scarcely think your car would fare any better if you broadsided a tree with it at speed.

#15, ah but it would in a way. an 85-86 nailed a tree at over 100 a few years ago, it split in two a little more cleanly. the roof didn't peal back like this one did. other then that it was about the same.

#16, The car would still of been totaled and you would of been dead none the less.
I'm pretty sure that the fire dudes peeled back the roof to get what's left of the people out of the car.
