This is the motor that powers the M35A2. About 200 odd HP, but thanks to gearing, it's a torque monster. Those big cylindrical canisters are filters for the fuel system to make sure it'll run no matter what muck you put in it. THe little thing on the upper left with the two holes is the compressor for the air brake

#12, Because diesel engines were deisigned to run on anything originaly, diesel fuel just became the preferred standard.
