I agree that there are similar styling cues. That's the main reason that I like the first gen camaro and the 71-73 Mustang about equally much.

#9, I'll give you that. They are lacking a lot of the "heritage" styling cues like the "c" scoop on the side. Can sort of say the same about the Fox-bodies, too.

I don't really see it all...the proportions are completely different. Similar details, but then again most performance cars had similar details during that time period, just as they do now.
