I've had something similar with the main page, reloading it almost always works

#20, I seem to recall that some of the bugs from those versions have since been fixed. I doubt 6.0+ will run on Windows 95 anymore, though--they've probably moved to the newer version of MFC or something, effectively dropping support for the older versions of Windows.

#23, Back in Jan '03, is when I did a complete software upgrade of this computer (had been running the original crap from '97)(all free downloadable software of course)

I downloaded the most advanced versions of IE, WMP, AIM, YIM, etc. that would run on Win '95. Made this computer much easier to use.

#23, sp1 isn't supported on 95 didn't say anything about 6.0, trying running windows update and see if it lists IE 6.

#24, use http://download.com.com/3000-2150-1...tml?tag=lst-0-2 instead or AIM and YIM, 1 application is better than 2

#26, Bah, I'm ok with what I've got now, and I knew someone who used Trillian, they said it was a tad confusing, and didn't have as many options as either YIM or AIM, but they were going for a simplistic approach.

"didn't have as many options as either YIM or AIM"
eh? It's got everything worth using from AIM and it does some other cool stuff. I can't speak for yahoo as I've never been a fan of them, which is compounded with their (apparent) new tracking policy. It also walks you through setup

#29, Trillian combines MSN, YiM, and AIM into one. You can use trillian instead of logging onto every messenger service you have.

#38, the type of connection wouldnt have anything to do with whether IE or any other Internet Browser crashes

Edit: Actually it depends on the situation but normally and in most cases the type of connection wouldnt matter
