The VR6s are sort of funny engines. They are indeed V6's, but they're such a narrow angle (15 degres or somesuch) that they're practically inline engines, and I think they actually have one head for both banks of cylinders, instead of two separate heads.

#7, Yeah, they seem to be fond of doing odd stuff with their engines. I forget what the W8 layout is, but it's pretty weird too.

i know that they make V5s for golf in europe, and 3 cylinder is blance
so my guess is they have 3-2-3 bank. but im not sure
