#11, I'm wondering if the rear differential siezed, is that the diff cover that's bouncing on the ground?
I mean, all that torque, if it suddenly siezes, the weak link would be out at the hub..... considering the bomb-proof nature of a rear axle on a drag car

i think that's a disc of the brake. some one did a bad job custom welding the axle

#13, Now THAT I can see happening, if it was improperly modified for those slicks..... whatever happened caused BOTH wheels to go at exactly the same time, that's the real mystery to me... I mean, you'd expect one to go before the other, but both instantaneously? Well, looks like the left goes a fraction of a second before the right

well that rear end had to be linkage+ posi. and both wheels would've spin at very close speed, and at that level of drag-racing, those tires wouldve had the exact same air-passure and exbanding equaly hitting the wheelwelds at the same time
