#1, well if its real then it would be a crazy 289, if not then chances are it is a 302/351 based. I can't see why anyone would spend the money to put a 427 in one of these

#3, cause an FE is not a cheap engine to build, and since the real ones didn't use a 427, a windsor is the smartest way to go
