#6, Me either. Think they look terrible for what they are.

I love the styling. I'm glad they didn't go with the tacky, overdone look of the GTO concept from a few years back. I like these because they are elegantly understated...much like the original GTO.

I think the styling is way to plain for a GTO... the design should be alot more distinctive from pontiac's other models

#9, It's actually MORE distinctive than the old GTOs...save for one or two styling cues, they were identical to a Tempest or LeMans.

And there's nothing wrong with plain looking...like I said, elegantly understated. "It's not aggressive enough" is the same excuse ricers use to make their economy cars ugly.

note: old GTO scoop does not work on new GTO

I dont like the hood scoop, but to those who say they hate the styling; have you actually seen it in person yet? I personally think it is beautiful. And I am one picky bastard. However, I do feel that all new cars are missing one critical styling component: CHROME!!

For the first time, I saw a Pontiac GTO in person. I saw it when I was driving past a parked one. I was in a hurry, and couldn't stop to look at it. But what I saw of it, I absolutely loved. It was nice and black.

I saw one at a car show. It really looked pretty good to me, if a bit understated (which is usually a good thing).

When I went to Phoenix in January, I saw several of these in one week. When I returned to Alberta, I saw 0 of these over the span of several months.

That is to say, I still haven't seen a local one.

i dont like the scoop on the new ones either...some say they are bland without them, but oh well, i like it when it's subtle

There's one around here with a ugly cowl hood, it's red also but it's an '03.
