Description:
250.00 rotors I'm looking at.
I've considered the power slot brand, but seen some bad reviews for them.
I assume it's ricers who installed them on their own and didnt do it right.
Any one have experience with either?
I'm looking at either a Power Slot/Axxis pads package or Brembo/Hawk HPS.
Thoughts? :) |

I have slotted brembos on the front of my car with four piston calipers. Doesn't really seem to make too much difference from smooth calipers. I plan on getting cross drilled rotors when these wear out. |

#1, really? i've heard the cross drilled rotors are more prone to cracking and warping.
what differences do you notice with the brembos - (no matter how small)

#2, I dunno, I'm still experimenting with the best combination. With all the hills around here, my brakes tend to warp pretty quickly anyway.
The main differences I notice is that they don't really seem to lock up as easily and less screeching. |

They will crack depending on how serious you drill them. No point really in the drilling as it just removes surface area. Slotting really doesn't make a big difference either. Its just for the performance look. More expensive cars have them just for that reason too.
Thanks for the feedback. I was wondering if anyone noticed a big difference in those type of brakes. |
