Ssang Yong Korando.

Ssang Yong is connected with Daewoo, and this vehicle has absolutely NO connection to any Jeep, Hummer, or any other well-known off-road truck company.

These were LOOSELY based on a Daewoo Koren military vehicle, but HEAVILY modified for civilian use...

Yep, I5 turbodiesel, IIRC... saw one of these on the Speed channel coverage of the Madrid Auto Show, that's why I posted this pic. I was aware of the Daewoo version, which had an even MORE Jeep-like grille, didn't know they had badged one as a SsangYong though.

I always though SsangYong only sold Korean built outdated Mercedes S-class designs...guess I was wrong.
