my dad has a '99 Aurora with about 30k miles on it. There are many months where it just sits in the garage since its impossible to drive it out on the dirt roads in the snow. |

Once again, Riceornot showed me a car, formerly unknown to me. |

I keep mine set to all pictures...but sometimes for some reason it changes itself to "car". |

and 3 years later - my dad STILL has the same '99 Aurora... bitching about the awful trade in value he would get if he ever sold it...
He is however looking at a new Cadillac CTS - wanting the AWD model. I've tried to convince him to get a Volvo wagon with AWD - but he had a _bad_ Volvo owning experience back in '70-'72(!) and refuses to buy them anymore. |

#9, Is Volvo AWD system still a bad joke, or did they improve it? |

#10, First generation AWD volvos had a crappy viscous diff, the later volvos with the Haldex diff have no real issues |

#11, It's a 'faux AWD', the rear gets torque only after the front slips, making it pretty much useless, if not dangerous when driving fast, or so it is claimed. Think FWD *chirp* -> AWD -> FWD |
