He's got a pretty cool setup in that thing...VERY nice. Though, I don't know exactly what 4G63T stands for... I imagine the "T" stands for turbo.

The 4G63 is the same motor that's in my car, 1st gens, older EVO's and 91-92 Galant VR4's. It's impossible to tell just how much HP this car is making without know what turbo is on there, the internals of the engine, what kind of tuning has been done and etc... The 4G63 motor is very stout even from the factory and has seen many days of 400+ whp. Build one up and it gets pretty crazy, the owner of the shop Twisted Tuning has his street car making 580 whp and the race car is 700+. My car is there right now b/c of some problems that occured with the 16g but you'll here about that later.

But back to the car at hand, it has a 14b/16g turbo by looking at this picture. http://memimage.cardomain.com/membe...2100_3_full.jpg
It's got a small front mount and a not that good GM maf. My guess is it's still fast. =)

#7, Your right, the newer EVO's have a 4G63 that's a little different from older 4G63's. The main difference is the engine is mounted the other way with the engine on the left and tranny on the right. The older EVO's and DSM's have the engine on the right and tranny on the left. Not to metion all the little details between the engines.

If I ever won the lottery...I'd keep my Mirage, but put an Evo motor in it...and possibly find a way to keep the weight down, and put the Evo AWD system into it...

I presume they also solved the crankwalk issue?

#10, Crankwalk was only a problem with the 95-99 Talon's and Eclipse's. The new EVO's, older 7-bolt (93-94) and 6-bolt (90-92) motors do not suffer from crankwalk.

Sorta reminds of the game Street Legal. This car looks similar to something that would be in the game, and half the time when you buy a starter car from the dealership it's missing its seats, hood, bumpers, etc.

I think it would have been funny if DiRF had omitted the j/k and seen how long h3e could strung us along with fabulous tales of turbo terror.
