Operation Flashpoint! well maybe not.
The Far Cry demo I played was interesting and impressive, until the mutant things showed up. I kinda lost interest after that, supposedly they're making a 64 bit version though.

My room mate has the game. The graphics are beautiful, the physics are awesome, and the gameplay is addicting as hell. The monsters are supposed to be super soldiers that are being developed by these terrorists that have taken over the island that you just crashed on.

Far Cry plays pretty good on my XP 3200+, GeForce FX 5950. Of course, I'm sure the X800 and 6800 could play it better.

I'm with snake, though. Once the beasts showed up, I just asked "Why?" I still continued and completed the game, though. Was a lot more fun shooting the mercs.

Didn't care for Far Cry myself. Looked nice and all, but I found the AI to be amazingly stupid.

#7, That should most definately do it.

#11, How far did you play into the game? The AI gets progressively harder. First few stages, they just stand around like tards, but later on it gets pretty tough.

The graphics are pretty good, but from that image the colors are way too vibrant and unrealistic.

Doom III will kick our asses: http://www.doomworld.com/shots/doom3_120603/04.jpg

#12, I found the AI quite easy to sort of trick. Get their attention and then step behind something (create, tree, whatever) and they come around one by one to be shot in the head. Reminds of the AI of Golden Eye. But in that case, you just have to close the door.

#19, laptop :( but i'm thinking of selling it for about 700, and getting one of those entry level dells, and buying a good card for it, which would be 700 together as well

or maybe just getting some stuff off ebay or buying one off there for that much...could probably pick up a very decent year old pc
