My brother could run Half Life 2 on his HP laptop. It's got 1.8 Ghz, 512 mb ram, 60 gig hard drive and a 2600 ATI graphics card which came with it. It had to be run low res and was still a little clunky, but we still got about 80% enjoyment out of it.

#20, I wasn't even talking to you. The 9250 is a DX8 cardand has seen better days, shit I think they retail for $50
I priced a mid/low level PC for a friend recently at ~$600, AMD 64 and 6600GT and a gig of RAM. I'd do that before buying a used dell to upgrade.

#22, Meh... it's a 256MB AGP card, and was cheap as hell, and tends to run all my games quite well... So, uh... woo o_o

#30, Dude, if I played online, i would get raped... I can barely fly choppers, and the only jet flying i can do is stunt flying... In fact, the only helicopter i can even think of flying is the AH6 Little Bird, and even that's tough for me.
As for ground vehicles, i'm decent... I tend to spend my time drifting in the Desert Patrol Vehicle or sniping with the MLRS

playing bots isn't going to make you a better player. you just gotta go online and fight it out.
e: I decided to go sniper (I never play sniper) midway into a round since we were pinned down, the next round I had the highest sniper score. you just need to do it

I've done it in UT 2004 a couple of times. It says "Eagle Eye" or something like that.

#35, lots of people, and with bots it's not really all that difficult. Shit I was trying out the commander stuff on single player BF2 with 15 bots and got 90 some odd kills, they are exceedingly easy to beat.
