#2, I LOVE BMWs from the '80s, they were just so clean looking, and the M-series Bimmers from the '80s and early '90s were among the best looking sedans in the world at the time.

E30's probably the internal code for the car's generation...kinda like how the different Porsche 911 generations are separated by codes (993, 996, etc)

Now that I think about it, I like almost every BMW before Bangle's reign of terror swept the company.

#4, E30 is the generation. I think it went E30, E36, E46.
