I love the older 442's. This one not so much. The front and colour scare me.

no the older 442's kicked ass. This, like the Chargers of the Same time, Mustang II's and so on, is really more of a disgrace to the name sake.

I have a 1:64 of one of these...but it's black, has a gold "3" on it, and has "Richard Childress" written on it.

The more I think about it, the more I LOVE the styling of American cars of the '70s....while their performance and reliability were crap, the styling was just so cool.

#3, I have to disagree with on the Mustang II, 442s were muscle cars from the begining, the Mustang just went back to its roots as a pony car

I'd like this bodystyle with an early 70s engine

I used to see a vaguely beaterish one of these around town occasionally, but the primary color was bright orange, rather than dark gold. Needless to say, with the bright gold trimming, it was rather unattractive.

I like this because of that classic ugly appeal. There are a lot of cars that I like that are pretty ugly really, but they are just so badass that I cant help but love them..
