reminds me of a toy I had. I think it's still in the basement somewhere. It was called Clydes Car Crusher and you would make cars out of foil and crush them into cubes. I also made foil versions of some of my matchbox cars and sometimes I would only send them partway through so they looked like this. oh yeah it had like a mold one of a car and one of a van you put the foil in also came with markers to paint them.

I remember commercials for that on TV, that was wayyyyyyyyy back in the early 80's when it came out, when matchbox started rolling out the model monster trucks of the 80's (Bigfoot, Rollin' THunder, Awesome Kong) we'd make aluminum foil shells of varioius matchboxes to "crush"

#2, Come to think of it, there were a LOT more car-related toys when I grew up, matchboxes were popular, and they had huge city block playsets you could set up with drive up banks and gas stations and parking garages and stuff, and I dont mean the hot wheels stunt sets or whatnot, but just little cities you could build |

#3, I had one of those when I was about 5 or so. Made by hot wheels, it was a dealership on a plastic mat with a parking garage and car elevator and the streets outside. |

#4, I had a modular set, you'd buy them in 2 packs, and each one had 2 city block pieces in them with two buildings each, and you could hook them up different ways, like puzzle pieces, and make cities out of them, they had the usual car-friendly buildings,
-Gas stations
-Bank
-Police Station/Fire House
-Firestone Garage (It was a genuine firestone, logo and all) |

I had a 3 story parking garage with an elevator you put cars in and it would send them down and it had a bell! you could also send them down a ramp. |
