Oh good God. >_<

This actually made me chuckle though.

Isn't Seldon the guy that got the patent for the automobile, and charged every automaker a royalty for every car they made until Henry Ford challenged him in court? (and Ford won)

Just looked it up, and, YEP...that's the guy...the patent was actually for a "road engine"...the patent was so general that he COULD charge a royalty...I can't exactly remember how Ford defeated him in court though.

I saw these (spinnerz) on an M-class Mercedes today, sheesh, talk about useless, can't think of any "Mod" that has a higher functionless/cost ratio than spinnaz

Ford defeated him because his car was using a 2 cycle engine, Ford said "Heck, I"m using a 4 cycle engine, so I'm not breaking any patent" The Judge agreed

#4, Interesting read...but I already knew most of that thanks to the History channel and a book I have, "100 Years of the American Auto" (c)2003, which is, by far, the best automotive book I have ever bought. Over 600 huge pages of information and pictures that covers almot every American automaker that has ever existed.

Last time I was in the states, I saw a Geo Storm with plastic spinner hub caps (not rims, hub caps) I laughed my ass off all the way home. When I told my Dad he laughed too. I wanted to try and race him just to do it, but he turned just as I pulled even with him at the stop light.
