It's already been for sale for a year in the Canadian market, as the Chevy Optra5. 30833

Like the Verona and Forenza, this car is a Daewoo rebadged as a Suzuki. More specifically, the Daewoo Lacetti.

Basically, the US is getting all of the global Daewoo civilian cars as Suzukis, with the exception of
The Tacuma: http://www.gmdaewoo.co.uk/models/tacuma/index.htm
And the Matiz: http://www.gmdaewoo.co.uk/models/matiz/index.htm Though, IIRC, Mexico gets the Daewoo Matiz, badged as a Pontiac.

#3, the matiz , more power in the city, offers a 1.0 liter 63 hp engine, and sadly some riceboy is already trying to figure out how much a turbo kit for these will cost

#7, I was >_< at the riceboy trying to get a turbo a Matiz, and kei cars are a class of microvehicle in Japan that are limited to 63hp, along with quite a few other limitations. The Matiz looks about the right size to be a kei car.
