I always wondered why those style headlights never really got popular in the after market for Tauruses...I think they look pretty cool.
In the movie, there are horrible continuity problems with the Taurus police cars...in some scenes the car will have these headlights, in others, the "same" car will have normal Taurus headlights...

Oh well, anywho, here's one that's beat to shit. http://photo.ricecop.com/pics/ocpde...licetaurus2.jpg

#1, There are quite a few problems with that movie, continuity being the least of them :P

#2, If you're trying to say the movie sucked, your post is falling on deaf ears. I really like this movie.

I think he means the actual headlights. It looks like the actual lights themselves are a circular type, and that the lens on the front is really just a cover.

#7, I liked the Robocop police cars: so... disposable and badass looking (matt paint!).
Plus, Robo was one of few movies in which bullets actually made holes in cars. VEEERY NICE!

Ah detroit, how you have become what the 80's predicted. For some fucking reason, our cable provider decided to carry detroit chanels as opposed to Rochester NY (aka troopersville). Yes, money may have been a factor but god damit! I grew up with the Roch channels and its closer. The shittiest part was they switched fox affiliates. Fox 22 Buffalo was my favorite channel from 1987-1992. Then I moved to Ottawa in and in 1996 miraclulously we got Fox 22 buffalo one day. Their programming was so much better. "Detroit's only 10 pm news cast", like I fucking care. The Jewlery store in Livonia can go fuck itself and I dont car about 8 mile murders.

People forget how futuristic the Taurus looked in the late 80's, keep in mind the kind of cars Ford was building alongside it or just before it, the 80's version of the Crown Vic, the LTD, the econo-box Escorts.....
