The Lake Pontchartrain causeway near New Orleans, Louisiana.

The longest overwater bridge in the world. It's ~24 miles long (!!)

We went over this thing on a church trip once and some guy counted the bumps in it. I didn't care then nor do I care now what that number was, but the whole thing is pretty nifty.

#4, I imagine that someone planning to drive on this bridge would make sure they have enough gas.

There is a guy half way in a blue stripped shirt holding a canister of gas. Be sure to give him a tip.
There is a Walgreens, Gap, and a bath house along the way also.

Ya I've been across this thing. Of course I did 85mph most of the way... I tend to do that on any open strech of road where theres no one else. Even been on the Brige/Tunnle up near Norflok? That thing rocks.

#8, I'd like to see it too... Fact is, I've only been west of the Eastern Time Zone ONCE, and that was when I was a baby when my family went to Chicago to visit family.

I've been east of the Eastern Time Zone a few times though... France, Spain, Luxembourg, Iceland...

dayum. At 55mph, it would take about half an hour to cross the bridge.
