Bone to Pick

Excellent album, but that's just my opinion...the coverart is a bit odd though...

Much of the music from this album was used in the Lucasarts "Full Throttle" PC game (which is why I bought the album) but my favorite song on the album is one that wasn't used in the game, interestingly enough.

Too many believe
In some ’master plan’
’cause it’s hard to accept
What’s not shapen by hand.
But here, under the sun,
Where events can’t be undone;
Once superstition’s spent -
You gotta know,
We want our brothers back.

The hurt came down
From the clear blue sky.
The sands of time
Went rushing by.

The curators frown
And they wax abstract.
But, man, if you’ve found love
What could matter more than that?
It’s a crime and a shame
To try to justify this pain.
I guess they’ll think what they will -
But before the dawn
They’ll want their brothers back.

The hurt came down
From the clear blue sky.
The sands of time
Went rushing by.
It came as a shock,
We’d shut our eyes.
Is this all that’s left,
Just a slow good-bye?

The hurt came down
From the clear blue sky.
The sands of time
Went rushing by.
It came as a shock,
We’d shut our eyes.
Is this all that’s left,
Just a slow good-bye?

I loved the game, and the music, too bad that they keep announcing/reneging on a sequel every freakin' year since it came out.....

#2, Well, the sequel is pretty much gone from existence. And it wouldn't be right without Roy Conrad (died 2 years ago.)

Full Throttle is a classic (IMO), and a non-2D sequel would just ruin it...

#3, Yeah, but for YEARS lucas arts said they would be starting work on sequels to FT, and Sam and Max, AND Space Quest, and like clockwork, next year, they'd say "oh, we're going in a different direction and there isn't really interrest for adventure games anyway" and just relase more cheap-o Star Wars stuff...

#4, Err... Space Quest is Sierra.

...and yeah, as long as Lucasarts can milk money from the Star Wars franchise, all of their people will be working on that Star Wars shlock*

*Excluding Star Wars games that are actually good, which are few and far between, like KotOR.

#5, Well, it's been a chicken or egg premise in gaming since at least 1995, game companies don't program adventure games, therefore, there isn't a market for adventure gamers to buy from, therefore, on paper, adventure gaming is dead........

A LOT of computer guys I know would LOVE to have a modern version of one of those old titles

#6, They would still need to be point-and-click/item-and-puzzle based though... and I wouldn't mind them keeping them 2D, but with amazing sprites and backrounds. But that's just me.
