Description:
The "Pipe Dreamer", a car from the "Fast 111's" line of diecast cars that were produced by Kenner in the early 80's I acutaly had, and still have somewhere probably, this particular car......... it's pretty representative of what most of them looked like

Eww. Seriously. Eww.

We've already had discussion about 1/64 diecast manufacturers... I'll summarize my opinions I expressed in that thread.
Hot Wheels and Matchbox used to be good, now they're both crap.
I miss Majorette.
My 1/64 diecasts of choice these days are Johnny Lightning ($2-$4), and Golden Wheels Diecasts (2 for $1).

GWD actually has licenced cars, with NORMAL looking paintjobs... some of the cars I have of theirs...
Viper GTS, FD RX7, R34 GTR, 300ZX, MkIV Supra, FedEx truck (just to piss off ambient :P ), '00 Ram Air Trans Am, '96 Mustang conv., eh...too many others to list.

Believe it or not, all three of the cars I owned (pipe dreamer, dynamo, formula) are on that website, guess I didn't miss much by not buying any others huh?

Well...I was scavenging around the local massive diecast store in my area, and the guy has quite a few of these buggers scattered throughout his shop (none in boxes, they're free range, but most of them are in great condition)... I haven't asked how much he wants for them, because I don't particularly want to buy them, because they're basically crap. ...and they all DO have that same damn rear bumper >_<
