DVLA says it's a 1970 Morris Mini, 998cc. Originally painted beige; the color on the fender there is probably the correct one. It was last registered in 1988, right around when the show was filmed. I guess it was junked afterward.
Bean's other car (the yellow with the black hood) was a 1977 Leyland Mini, registration SLW 287R.
