#2, To put it in (admittedly) more understandable English:
I cant stand it when manga-characters have animal-parts on their bodies: Tails, ears, whiskers, whatever. Some might find it cute or, in case they are even more deranged, cool.
Addidtionally, I dont like the mainstream-manga aesthetics in general. The whole swordfighting-androgynetc-whisperingthenscreaming... thing. I hope you get my idea.

#4, Well, it's not like it's done for no reason, Inuyasha is half-demon, if you read the backstory to the anime, so that's why he looks the way he does

I used to be big into anime... then I realized how incredibly weird the stuff on tv was. Course theres still some cool anime, but this sure as hell aint it.

#9, Most of it is forgettable, predictable, and cliche'd to hell, but occasionaly you do get an interresting show that's worth it, the thing is, anime is more of an art style than anything else, and story lines tend to get convoluted, confusing and are offten full of moral/ethical/social undertones, so they can be a turn off to people who were raised on the traditional "20 minutes to shoot everyone and resolve everything" cartoons that most of us grew up on
I'm no anime fanboy, and I'd say 75% of it doesn't interrest me, but there is that 25% that's worth it

This show was corny beyond all words, yet somehow I ended up watching every episode. It was like animated crack.
