Description:
THe M-135, Grandfather to the "modern" M35 Deuce' Gasoline powered, and saw service in WWII, later would be superceeded by the M-211 series of trucks, and finaly by the M-35 deuce, the first to use the multifuel turbodiesel, starting in 1957. THe first M35's were actualy built by Studebaker right before they went bankrupt

The M-211 is essentialy the same truck w/ dual rear tires, this one as you can see is running on singles. The 211's had the same curved hood, a utilitarian holdout of 30's and 40's truck styling. The M35's were the first to use the squared-off hood and grille that remains the standard "semitruck" shape more or less to this day
