That was a very fucked up movie. It's amazing how violent some movies were in the '70s. You couldn't get away with that sort of thing in our modern ultra-PC atmosphere. People are too uptight and nobody has any balls anymore.

#5, unless it comes from japan that is. in which case its a gore fest like you could never imagine. case in point, the movie i just saw called ichi the killer.

#5, yeah, the rape scene in that movie is really violent if I remember correctly... same with the rape scene in 'Death Wish'... I mean it's graphic to the point where I almost have to look away
hmm... now I feel like buying CW on DVD
the book was pretty cool... bit of trivia - the American version only had 12 chapters, as compared to the UK which had 13
