SCEA has nothing to do with it, it's Japan only.

I could car less about the cars or deals they make with Nike, but as long as they deliver the goods its okay in my book.

I want to see a plain black stock car where the owner is sooo rich, he doesn't need any sponsors.

#13, Hmmm... there WAS a Billionaire by the name of J.D.Stacy that bought up a bunch of sponsorless Winston Cup teams in the early '80s, and slapped his name on the side of all of them... then he abandoned the sport, leaving those teams scrambling to survive (one of which was Dale Earnhardt's #2 team, formerly owned by Rod Osterlund... Dale had to jump ship and go over to Bud Moore racing...)

#16, A number of guys on the ARCA circut sponsor themselves, that is, they advertize their own companies, but don't have thier names in them, and a few guys in the BUSCH series were like that too, sons driving with sponsorship from thier father's company....

#17, Brendan Gaughan's truck team (#62) is sponsored by his father's casino, The Orleans. Steve Park currently drives the truck.
The #37 Cup team is owned by John Carter, and is sponsored by "Carter's Dispose-All".
Valvoline owns a majority of the #10 Cup team, driver Scott Riggs. A teammate the to the #10 team, the part-time #36 Boris Said team is mostly owned by Centrix Financial, the car's sponsor.
