I like the wing, and the lower foglights, but it still needs the lights in the grille and a lot more

so other than 1. stripes, 2. shelby/cobra/gt500 badging, 3. wheels

there's not much cosmetic differences here is there?

I predict numerous fakes popping up then just like everyone who slaps a saleen sticker on their current mustang.

#25, The front end (headlight bezels, grille, hood) are all different from a normal Mustang... t'would be rather hard to make a convincing copy of a new Shelby without ponying up a couple grand for a new front end.
Of course, there WILL be cheap-ass half-assed copies cranked out by the boatload by morons. But they'll be really easy to spot.

#28, And I'll bet the Cobra IRS does not fit to this floorpan... Hey, at least it has springs not leafsprings like the Vette >_<

#28, nothing wrong with live axles... especially if you like wheel hop when going over rough road :p

#30, And the inside rear wheel up in the air...
Thankfully it come stock with a track bar. Now all that needs to be bolted on is a torque bar, right?

#29, Leafspring, singular, and not how you are picturing it.

#32, What I see are wishbones/control arms and funny halves of multi-leaf leaf springs at each side.

#34, They aren't halves, it's one solid transverse composite spring that runs underneath the transaxle.

There is nothing unrefined about the C5 and C6 'Vette suspension, no matter what it uses for springs. I'm sure there was a reason they went with lateral composite leaf springs instead of coils, probably packaging.

#36, I think it was more tradition dictating composite leaf springs over conventional methods, but you can't argue with the results.

#36, Perhaps. But I don't think Lotus (they are the gods of handling and it's official too) would go for something like this...
But what the hell am I talking about: people in Europe only buy Vettes with auto transmissions >_<

#38, People in the US only by 'Vettes with autos :p Lotus is the gatekeeper to handling heaven.

#37, It works. I think some of the hardcore autocrossers might convert theirs to coilovers, but I imagine if you're playing with the suspension, it's far easier to find a coil spring at a given rate than it is to find a composite leaf..
