Description:
Porsche 993 GT2.
The last "real" Porsche and one of the last "true" race cars. Said to be very twitchy, manhandling lead only to shredding the tires and finally spinning out. Not only a bitch to handle but also a bitch to look at: bolted on fender flares, often misaligned and hacked up bumpers, non-fitting exhausts, etc. I love it!
Oh: it was turbocharged. Gotta love fireworks!!! |

#2, Yeah. In 2003 Polish team Alda Motorsport raced a 993 GT2 in FIA GT series. The car had a front bumper which was fitted on using force (there was a distinct lip over the hood), a hole was hacked in the bumper and the exhaust was an original one: two pipes side by side on the center. The rear bumper still had the openings for two pipes: one on each side o_O
BADASS. |

#3, I forgot to mention: 3.6l flat-six, two turboes, around 500HP for endurance races and 700HP for sprints o_O Air cooled (IIRC) and featuring the famous snap-under-oversteer handling by Porsche (the last Porsche with this feature). |
