What? No, Lamborghini has a long history of making things other than cars. They made a series of trucks that were primarily intended for a military audience (much like the HMMWV) too, as you can see here. [Edited by Lemming on 4-10-2005 @ 07:33:25 PM]

#1, Happened a LOOOOONG time ago. Started out as a prototype mid-engined military vehicle for the Italian military in the late '70s, yes, it was a Lamborghini project from the beginning. The Italian military didn't bite, so Lamborghini decided to take the idea and run with it, switching it to being a front-engined vehicle, and dropping the Countach's V12 in it... they were built and sold in very small quantities in the late '80s and early '90s, BEFORE the whole super-luxo SUV boom.

#5, Indeed... Mr. Lamborghini made a fortune building some of the finest tractors in Italy... bought a Ferrari, it broke down, he called up Ferrari, and they were EXTREMELY rude to him... so he decided to build his OWN Supercar, and the rest is history.
