exhaust won't pass PA inspection, and rather then just go ahead and give it to me (since its coming to me anyway) he is just going to let it sit there. my grandfather is one of those "oh I'll restore it one of these day" people. once he lets a car sit for any amount of time, it tends to sit for good

It's a '51, isn't it?

In any case, it holds a lot of potential. These cars are easy to get parts for, too, as far as 50 year old cars go.

#5, 50, and yeah it has potential, just not in the hands of my grandfather. his 64 GTO wasn't this far gone and he never got around to fixing it (a car that was his baby no less)

I like SCs... used to work with a guy who had one... seemed pretty quick when I rode in the backseat once.

#7, biggest thing I like about them is that they are the only MN12s that you could get with a 5 speed. that and anything with a blower gets bonus points from me :-)

#9, nope, chances are both cars will now sit and rot. if he would sell it, it would be out of the blue. we tried to get him to sell us his GTO for years, then out of the blue he sells it outside the family for less thenwhat we offered him.

Ya I know how you feel. Theres a GTO here that I've been tring to buy sense High School. The guy has like six other muscle cars, and he won't sale any of them. Say's he's going to start a resto on all of them 'soon'. I do like the S.C. though.
