Custom vans appealed to the same crowd that today buys muscular pickup trucks. They're both symbols of virility.
(Never had one, never wanted one, never needed to prove anything...) :)

Anyone catch that episode of OVERHAULING the other week? Chip Foose redid a 1976 van, looked real sweet when it was done. Also: I think I know that chick!
