Description:
Antonov An-2. Known as Colt in the west and Antek in Poland :)
Designed in 1947, remained in production until 90s. Over 12,000 made in Poland by PZL, 5,000 in the USSR and 1,500 in China (named Hrabin Y-5 and Fongshu 2).
A truly amazing beast.

Wings and large parts of fuselage are covered with linen o_O, the mighty radial piston engine (1000HP) revs very low, the metal prop reminds of WW2 bombers. Slow as hell (once I saw one flying above a road. My car was doing 110kph and the plane was falling back o_O), loud as shit and so ugly it's beautiful. Biplane set-up means it needs almost no runway and it can land on anything (grass, dirt, mud, etc.). This and simple maintenance caused a need for more of An-2s. Russians introduced a turboprop version but it was too expensive and complicated. PZL thinks of restarting the production...

Ain't these headers sexy? :P
Actually, it's pretty common to see a bucket hanging under the engine when the plane is parked. It is used to collect leaking oil o_O

#6, It's Sen_Sekhmet (just without the pause).
Well... looking at the interior shot all I see are sticks. Knobs. Cool analouge tachos. Yum. And it has bucket seats!!! Of course only for pilots... refugees/immigrants have to stand/crouch/lie.

#9, I asked if the Impala SS was a manual: no response. Was it?

#10, When did you ask? Anyway, no, it was never offered with a manual. No full size GM car had a manual option from pretty much '71 on. I know there were a few here n there in the 60's, but they werent too popular.

6speeds are swaped into SS's sometimes. so you could find a manual if you looked enough. im just saying

#19, I guess it's still cheaper than burning down an SS Impala. But it can be more expensive than a normal Impala I imagine...
