#5, No, I need a "rework my Mirage's fucking fucked-up electrical wiring" fund. I've had two radios installed in the car so far, the electrical gremlins in my car fried both. ...and I also need to get the wiring redone for another reason... driving without a horn can be dangerous.

#6, That sucker's purple. I know that color well. ...and HOLY CRAP... ANOTHER PURPLE CAVALIER WAGON... that makes it only THREE that I have ever seen in my entire life... mine, someone in Indian Harbour Beach (neighboring town) has one, and that one.

#15, Thank you, but no. Given the choice, no radio is worth the ~27mpg I'm getting ^_^

#13, Thats what I did, mounted em pointing down on both sides of the radiator. Sounds like a train just not as loud.

#18, Back in the '70s, my father had a little 250cc 2-stroke Bultaco ex-racing bike, and put two "Mountain Bus Horns" on it... those horns are designed to be heard for MILES... and are louder than airhorns...

He used to go into the city and scare the shit out of cabbies.

#17, My sister's Escort used to get around 30, and she did not drive that thing lightly.

Moved OK for what it was, too. I wish she hadn't gotten rid of it; all it needed was a little bit of maintenance (timing belt and brakes).
