#7, Actually, he's just "Prince" again now, I believe... the whole "Artist formerly known as" jive with that weirdass symbol was an attempt by him to intentionally sink his career to get out of the 10 year or so recording contract he had... He would even write "Slave" on his face for press conferences to referrence the fact that he thought the contract was unfair and there was no way for him out of it. I think he was acting like a big crybaby though.
