#5, I spent about a month in Switzerland with friends a few years ago, unfortunatley none of them were into cars, so I didn't get to see the Stelvio. On a side note, Europe is absolutely amazing and I REALLY hope to live there someday... currently taking French from my wife. |

Imagine this on a cold and overcast day, stormy winds relentlessly driving grey clouds across the wild norwegian sky. You, the man of steel, strapped to your machine of steel, the untamed engine roaring like... err... the giants of Jotunheim, the Turbos hissing like the Midgardsnake itself, fighting the very elements, madly dahing up that mountain, like your Viking ancestors of old once did. You may crash and burn, but when you do, you wont touch the ground again but slam right tthrough Valhallas iron gates to remain at Odins side, forever fighting and feasting with all the other Warrior gods until all ages are gone and the world collapses at the day of Ragnarök.
To sum all that crap up, Ive been there once, it absolutely breathtaking. It touched my inner Viking. |

#11, This isn't crap. This is quite true...
BTW, Romans were shocked when they saw Celtic and German tribes climbing mountains just to zoom down the slope... sitting on their shields o_O yay! |

#14, I was high on Manowar and had just before finished watching Conan the Barbarian, so... I felt I had to somehow apologize for my violent poetic outburst.
BTW, it seems the romans not only watched in horror. They learned and adopted. Or how do you explain Lamborghinis, Ferraris and Delta Integrales? |

#15, Let's be frank: it takes a lot of balls to create an empire... Seriously. Yes, yes, technology, science, etc, etc. But spirit and personality: this is what makes a tribe/country/civilisation successful. Too bad that Europe is now old, sick and tired...
Religion is a part of nation's spirit. With all due respect (I'm a catholic), christianity is not a powerful religion... no wonder Rome and Byzantium fell... They simply had no more balls. |

#16, Well I'll be kielbasa and say I agree. Charisma is a very, very key element. This not only allows you to increase your empire, it allows you to keep it.
Example: Castro. |

It's like San Francisco's Lombard Street, only much larger. |
