You know why I like the old (current) G Wagen? 'Cause it looks like a truck, it was designed to be utilitarian, tough and truck-like. This is designed to please target audience focus group members who play golf, have kids who play soccer and live in a McMansion. Fuck a new Korean-ass MB, bring back the old Teutonic MB.

Actually... this thing is supposed to be better off road than the old G-class, so its not entirely as stupid as the M Models. But somehow... I cant imagine this thing in Army colours, armoured, machineguns on the roof , with RPGs and jerry cans strapped to its sides, carrying KSK operators around Afghanistans countryside.
