Only rotary-powered cars should be allowed to wear that paintjob... and I highly doubt this is rotary-powered..

#2, It seems that everyone in management in the car industry has slogan that goes, "Lightweight? What's that? That only means it has less options, which is bad."

The only exceptions are British sportscar manufacturers, and the people in charge of producing Kei cars.

#2, I totally agree. I think they look like total crap. They should bring back the flip lights too.

It's bigger, heavier, and the overhangs are massive. You know somethings wrong when a Miata comes with 17" wheels standard, and on top of that they still don't look big enough.

#5, You can't do the "miata wave" with fixed lights :)

#6, Yeah, seriously. On the first gen miatas 17"s look ridiculously huge.

#8, Any car that's supposed to be about "back to basic sports car driving" but comes standard with 17" wheels and a 2.3 litre four is missing the point by a large margin.

#10, I do too, but the flip light ones are better. Same deal with Corvettes

Semi-related question. was the Corvette the last car with flip lights? I can't seem to think of any other cars currently made that still have them. Seems fitting since it was the car that popularized fliplights. (yes I know the Cord 810 and 42 Desoto had them before it)
