They let everyone down. The fans, the viewers, the sport.

That was quite possibly the silliest race ever. The only interesting point I saw was when the two Ferrari drivers ran each other off the track. Monteiro looked like he enjoyed finishing on the podium for once, though. :p

The FIA really dropped the ball on that one. They could've done something to allow the Michelin teams to actually run, but instead they just thumbed their collective noses at the fans.

And I was hoping that someday, the cars would be able to go into the pits at 150mph like the old days. Oh well.

Instead, we got Schumacher coming out of the pits at 150 mph and nearly ramming his teammate. That's good enough, right? :p

#8, Schumi shoulda been penalized, that was an assinine move. He intentionally tried to wreck another car.

Go Minardi! If I were filthy rich, I'd buy Minardi, leave them with no sponsors and run both cars all black.

#11, I been thinking that doing that for Nascar and Le mans would also rock.

#12, The 2002 Ford 300 Busch Series race... lacking sponsorship, Scott Wimmer still runs the race, in this paintscheme: http://photo.ricecop.com/pics/wimmerflames.jpg His owner, Bill Davis, decided to have some fun with the paintscheme since he could.

Scott Wimmer won the race.

#17, Its absolutely embarrassing, but I guess that has to happen when european motorsport hits american ground... and vice verso, remember that indycar race where Zanardi lost his legs? Had to happen ion the first race in Germany.

#18, Jiggawhatnow? You're saying the cause of all of this was the race taking place in America? Oh yes, the evil American molecules in the air destroyed those Michelin tires...
