I wonder how much power it really takes to lift the front wheels in a Fiero. It still must take a lot of power, but the car does have a short wheelbase and a favorable weight bias. |

good question. I imagine traction is the biggest issue. I've seen a fiero with a northstar V8 that didnt do this |

#4, Then again, Northstars aren't exactly torque monsters.
A stock De Tomaso Pantera can pull the front wheels (not this high, though), and I would imagine they weigh a bit more than a Fiero. Once you figure between 300 and 400 ft. lbs. in something like a Fiero, it could probably pull this off rather easily. |

#5, Last November I had a 4.9 out of a 93 DeVille put in my Fiero and it'll severely unload the front suspension. New 4.9's put out around 270 ft. lbs. So, yeah, 300 will getcha some air.
disclaimer - use the Fiero 4-speed instead of the Caddy auto. A 4.9 4-speed Fiero around town, makes silly fun; you're a light to light god. On the highway? Umm, 70 mph = 4200 rpm.
4.9 automatic Fiero: a nice relaxed cruiser and on the highway you can get 21ish mpg.
