I'm sorry if this car has already been submitted (I haven't been keeping up with Rice or
Not for a while.) I just had to post it though.

Amazingly, this is the first time I've seen Ecto-1 on this site. There's an old Edsel ambulance, but that's the closest thing I've seen to this.

I love that monolgue about what's wrong with the car when he gets it. I don't reall remember it, but it's like:
"Got a couple of problems, but it was still a decent deal. Needs brakes, brake pads, shocks, springs, upholstry, ignition, pistons, rings, carburetor, transmission, tires, and a little wiring. Only $4800!"

well, it's a '59 caddy hearse, so not a lot. It probably had to have a v8 to move all that iron, but probably no more than 200 or so. just lots of torque.

They were around 300 hp stock with about 450 ft lbs of torque. Not much ho for a barge like this (6000 lbs!!) but the torque was sufficient.

The '59 Series 62 Convertibles had enough going under the hood to motivate them to 0-60 times of about 10 seconds. Damn fast for a car that weighs 2 1/2 tons.

#5, It's a Caddy AMBULANCE, not a Caddy Hearse...slight differences.
