i HATE yellow headlights with a capital "HATE", i mean, a pair of silverstars will run you $40...if you go all out and restore a car to this extent, GET THEM!

The lowering job and the wheel size are a bit too extreme for my liking, but it's definitely a mean car. Its strength seems to lie in its simplicity. |

#9, That's been really popular with the restomod crowd as of late, can't open a Popular Hotrodding without seeing a bunch of rocker scraping muscle cars with 20 inch Budniks |

i thought i commented on this one before... hmm. well its the same gen as my dads nova. his is WRX blue (WR blue mica) with 15 in TT D's. not lowered. small cowl like this. but his has badges on the fenders. most important change is the powerplant. 6 cyl to a 396 which was bored 30 over twice. its a beast. edit: too bad it hasnt run in a while. that much toque will give you some drivetrain issues. believe it or not :P

#10, That's the problem with Popular Hotrodding. Its very name lets you know they're only interested in covering the megabuck cars that are following whatever trends are popular right now.
That's why I like Car Craft....they'll profile any car, providing it's clean and fast. 15 inch Cragars and ladder bars will always have a place there. :D |

#12, I know what you're saying. In some mags all I'm seeing all these rich doctor turds paying off high profile designers to create some 700hp chromed out monstrosity that'll just stagnate in his garage for the next fifty years. I'd rather focus on a car the blue collar man like me can afford, I mean a $50,000 interior and a 527 Ram Jet engine is cool and all, but enough's enough... |
