Description:
Rumor has it that Chrysler is gearing up an LX-based Challenger concept for the 2006 Detroit Auto Show. Allegedly this is in response to the tremendous success of the new Mustang. Maybe this will make up for the new Charger. |

#1, Maybe I'll be able to afford one by then.
Better still, maybe the bottom will drop again in the old car market and I'll be able to afford a '70-'74 Challenger by then. Or even better still, maybe one of each. |

Mmmmmm, no....not doin it for me. Maybe if they would smooth out the lines a little more and decrease the size of the hoodscoops alot more. |

Challenger? There sure are a lot of '71 'Cuda styling cues for a Challenger. |

#6, No complaints from me.
It seems to be a general reference to E-body styling. The grille and gilles in the fenders and definitely 'Cuda, while the defining line in the body is definitely Challenger. |

Chrysler had better shorten the LX platform a little and make this one a 2-door. |

Supposedly shortening the platform is part of the idea. I'm hoping that, if it gets made, it's around the same size as the Mustang. 'Tis a good size for a performance coupe.
My main concern is whether or not they'll offer a manual transmission. It's something they've had trouble producing for their other Hemi vehicles, except for the Ram. |

Holy shit yes. As you can probably see, I saved it in my favorites. With good reasoning. It is the best damn looking car in modern DCX history. Please make this car. Please. Oh, and don't be dicks and price it at some $35,00. Start it at roughly $22k for a base model, and you will have a hit. |
