Description:
Pro Street '69 Dodge Charger Daytona. Not an original Daytona, but a damn fine
replica, and pro-streeted RIGHT.

This has always struck me as a good idea for an NMCA car. You get weight breaks for driving an old car, but this doesn't suffer much aerodynamically next to a new one.

I'm surprised one of those towel-rack wings hasn't turned up on a ricemobile yet.

I just hope a ricer doesn't get their hands on a Daytona or Superbird. I can somehow imagine an aluminum wing bolted ON TOP of the big one, and then another one on the trunklid under it.

Wing cars don't look right as Pro Streeters.

I have an article on this car in MOPAR Action. 1400 HP. The owner calls it the "Doom Buggy". Jesse James called one of his projects that didn't he?

What's worse than a fast car that can only make left turns? A fast car that can't make any turns at all.

I love Mopar wing cars and I'm glad they at least didn't wreck a real one to make this. Come to think of it, this car looks very familiar... 64965
