Description:
Fiat X1/9 (a.k.a. Bertone X1/9). Small MR roadster. 1300 or 1500 engines with 75-85HP, 4 or 5 speed trannys. Flip-up headlights. Zippy, it wieghted only 880 (1300cc) or 920kg (1500cc).
BUT...
Because of some fucked up emisson regulations the car never had more than 67HP in the US versions *dies*

I love the blocky styling... Look at that cute (and functional) splitter in the main pic!

Specs:
Driveline: transverse engine mid layout with rear wheel drive
Suspension: MaCPherson struts with telescopic dampers and coil springs (front and rear)
Brakes: discs, diameter 227mm (front and rear... this sounds a bit scary)
Steering: rack and pinion, 3 turns lock to lock.
Perfromance:
1300: top speed 100mph, 0-60mph in 12 sec, 1/4th mile in 19 sec
1500: top speed 110mph, 0-60mph in 11sec, 1/4th mile in 17.2 sec

Slow. So what?!

Gah. I remember them with that bumper. Dear god. I have seen a Euro version ONCE. That was back about 3 years ago when I went to London.

#1, Canadian fool!

AEHL 500 on Ontario plates. Probably plated in 2000, not original owner.

Don't worry, we are America's attic :p
