Nah... still not big enough. It's still making miles to the gallon rather than gallons to the mile!

I have seen several 2003+ Silverado's with older boxes. Or perhaps they were older Silverado's with newer front clips.

#13, I've seen many an 03 Silverado with a 99-02 clip, and even a few eighties step sides sporting an 03 clip as well. I guess it's a pretty popular trend.

#14, I once saw an early 80s Ford with a 97-03 bed. I'm still going to therpy to get that ghastly spector expunged from my mind. (OK not really)

Also, a lot of 70s ford trucks around here have 80s- to early 90s beds to replace the ones that have rotted away.

#15, Expunged, good word use. Actually the most common bed grafting I see is on the 59-72 C/10 pick ups. I usually spot a few with 88-98 beds on them, and for the most part they look good.

#17, Some guy in my town has a mid-80s Chevy truck with an 88-98 stepside bed. Looks pretty good.

#18, I imagine it does, those bed styles are real popular becuase the sheet metal was of such high quality. I don't see a lot of that model year rusted out unless severe neglect is involved.
