haha, but this applies to audis and other higher-end import cars too
the funny thing is, if you really had it as a sticker, most people wouldn't think about it twice, and just assume it was patriotism

Reminds me of one of those most inane bumperstickers I've seen lately. Plastered on a late 90's Dodge Ram 2500...
"MY TRUCK WASN'T BUILT WITH CHOPSTICKS!"
I was going to say something pithy and insightful, but, if you haven't updated your version of "How the world works" since 1982, there's no point. |

#5, That's really why I had to laugh/groan on the inside, if he had any idea how many parts on that truck didn't originate from the US, he'd probably go apoplectic. |

#8, Well, a mechanic told me there are more genuine Bosch parts on my 1991 car than on a new VW... bullshit or not? |

Well, building on the theme. What's worse than an ignorant inane political bumpersticker? An ignorant inane HOMEMADE political bumpersticker. As in printed on computer printer paper, then covered in scotch tape to make it stick/keep the colors from bleeding (and not doing a good job at either). The vehicle was an ordinary enough rusty old Toyota Camry, but the "sticker" said
"BAN FEDERAL RESERVE TYRANNY! SUPPORT BITCOIN FOR FREEDOM!"
There's not much you can say to someone who's political views are 180 years obsolete, is there? There were three more, but they were so worn/faded I couldn't read them, not that it was a great loss that I couldn't............

#11, I call people like that "Goldbugs"
They'll bug you incessantly on why we need to go back the gold standard because the dollar isn't "real"......... you can try to explain to them how fiat currency works, but they aren't listening.
They're slightly more annoying to listen to than tax protesters, but less annoying than chemtrail freaks

Saw another "good" one today.....
"The era of death is near! Socialism will NOT work!"
I can only assume he's speaking about healthcare reform. Though, he could be speaking out against almost ANYTHING passed by the ebill gub'ment (tm) in the last 5 years or so..... Warped thinking like that makes me almost wish they WERE spraying poison from airplanes, specifically, over HIS property. |

#14, They should make one that says, "I'm Catholic, and my priest doesn't fuck kids." |
