it may use less fuel, until its chipped so its so rich that you see its exhaust from a 1/4 mile away whenever the owner hits the accelerator. i hate that shit. not saying it is, its just that every redneck gets stacks and a chip and all of a sudden they are pulling masters! its as bad as ricing in my eyes. spend this money just for looks and still slow as balls. |

That would work, too. Ive noticed diesel is cheaper than regular in most cases, so this would definitely be good. |

#5, its really not part of the discussion but no. i never said it "used less fuel" but thats a comparative statement with nothing to compare it to. this uses less gas than what? buying a ram for the fuel economy is like buying a civic for performance. it just doesnt make sense.

#6, Heh. Im slowly realizing what Civics can do with money spent in the right places. Read up on a 10.7 second all-motor 93 Civic hatchback. First head swap of its kind. And dont ever doubt the cars ability to autoX.
But weigh in the fact that diesel is cheaper than 87 with the lesser overall gas mileage.

#8, here, it's cheaper. Plus, wirth my love for trucks, I will need either a 2500 Cummins or something similar if I want a DD truck. Remember, we basically go north every summer and often take winter trips. 4WD is proabably a must in MN. |

#1, that's why there's adjustable power levels for when you just want to save gas
btw, with a nice exhaust system these sound like a damn semi...very nice
you need a turbo upgrade, i/c, intake, exhaust, injectors, and possibly propane/nitrous injection, and you've got 500hp/800lbft at the wheels

#14, indeed. I have seen videos of Cummins on the dyno. I watched with great attention a 563RWHP/779 RWTQ Cummins basically start to roll off the dyno. |

#13, Yeah when I go to NH, there's lots of newer Subarus, but you hardly see any 80s ones. Heck, I think I see more AMC Eagles there than old Subarus. |

#16, shit, I can't remember the last time I saw one in MN. There's one in Lawrence for sale for roughly $4500 though. |
